2013 Provo Halloween Half Marathon

Hello again Greensole Runners!

Here are some pics from the Provo Halloween Half Marathon this Year! Enjoy!

It took us way to long to our drop bags... but eventually it got done.

Ahhh driving home back to the inversion of SLC

What a fun race! Hope to keep running it as long as I can. Every year it gets a little better!

ST George Marathon 2013

Hello GSR,

Welcome to another race picture addition of Greensole Running! Today I am finally getting around to posting up the pictures from our STG Marathon. 

What a perfect race it was! For those of you that did not hear I PRed and BQed! 

I would like to extend a special thank you to my family, friends, and training buddies for helping accomplish my goals! You guys all rock!

St George Marathon Tomorrow!

Our favorite race is tomorrow the St. George Marathon!

This is truly like Christmas for my runner family and me. Hope to see you guys all up on the busses up to the start line tomorrow art 4:00am.

Chicago Rock 'n' Roll Half Marathon

Hey GSR,

As promised here are some pics from the Chicago Rock 'n' Roll half-marathon!

This race was pretty cool. This was my first time in Chicago and what a cool way to see the city. I may be a convert to this whole race-cation thing.

Anyways I'll let the pictures tell the story... 

After driving into Chicago and realizing that we could not yet check into our hotel we headed to the race expo.

The total tourist that I am... I wanted a picture with downtown in the background

This was our traffic pretty much every time we it the road... if baffles the mind how poorly we timed our driving... anyways we went back to our hotel, checked in, and headed downtown to eat and look around!

This was our first of two deep dish pizza stops of the day and it was definitely the better of the two. This was at lou malnati's pizza in downtown Chicago!

Race Day Morning!!!

The city was amazing! what a cool place to race.

It felt a little like a scene from The Walking Dead with all the streets closed for the race downtown.

I love all the bridges in this city!

The breaks between the building really give you an awesome view!

So cool! we got to run by this!

Running our way out of down town.... by this point is was SOO hot and humid!

Just when we got done running out... we turn around and head back into town!

So that was a brief look into our race weekend! Hopefully there will be more fun race trips yet to come!
