Hi everyone! This is the start of something awesome, Greensole Running. This is our brand new website, and we are absolutely excited about it. However, like all new things, it may have some bugs at first, so if you run across anything strange, let us know!

As one of our first posts we would like to talk about Greensole Running a little bit and tell you about who we are as Greensole Runners. (Hopefully you will be one of us too!)

We are a 100% volunteer non-profit running organization, supporting running regardless of athletic ability.

Here, check out our mission statement.

Mission Statement: 

To provide a positive, supportive community that promotes healthy lifestyles though recreational running at all levels of fitness in a no-cost and accessible manner, while striving to end obesity. 

Cool.

But what dose that really mean?

It means we are runners! ALL OF US! Yes, you reading this. Maybe you are an Olympic marathoner or maybe you're this guy:

Either way, you are still a runner!

Right now you may be laughing or thinking, "Sure maybe, but no, not me."

Yes you!

We were made to run! It is the easiest sport in the world! One foot in front of the other :-)

There is no speed anyone is going to force you to maintain.
There is no one that is going to laugh at you.
There is no one to beat.
No judgement, just support. That's how we runners roll.
Because honestly, all current runners were just starting out at one time.

Still don't believe me? We will prove it to you. Just give it a shot!
You can at least give us a shot right?
Stick with us and I guarantee this:

1) You'll feel healthier
2) You'll look awesome in those green soles
3) You'll help out a good cause

Most importantly

4) You'll have fun and make some new friends

You'll be a runner

This is why we run

So regardless of who you think you are (a runner or not), join us! We will make sure you have fun!

So, lace up those shoes,
color those soles green,
and go for a run in the name of fun!

And you just might find a little more awaits you.
